Update account details
You can update your profile information, contact details, and password from the Merchant Portal. This article explains which fields you can change and how to make updates.
Editable fields
The following fields can be updated directly from your Merchant Portal profile:
Merchant Name
Your display name shown to customers
Company Name
Your registered business name
Primary account email for login and communication
Notification Email
Separate email for transaction alerts
Website URL
Your business website address
Language
Preferred language for the portal interface
Update your details
To update your account information:
- 1Log in to the Merchant Portal.
- 2Click Merchant Settings in the sidebar menu.
- 3On the Profile tab, click the Edit button to enter edit mode.
- 4Update the fields you want to change. Modified fields will be highlighted to show what has changed.
- 5Click Save to apply your changes. Only the fields you modified will be updated.
Change your password
To change your login password:
- 1Go to Merchant Settings → Profile and click Edit.
- 2Enter your new password in the Password field.
- 3Click Save to update your password.
- 4On your next login, use your new password to sign in.
If you have forgotten your current password and cannot log in, please contact our support team for assistance with resetting your credentials.
Fields managed by ZAFA PAY
Some fields on your profile are managed by the ZAFA PAY team and cannot be changed from the Merchant Portal:
Merchant ID
Your unique merchant identifier, assigned when your account is created. This is used for API integration and cannot be changed.
API Key
While you can regenerate your API key, the key itself is system-generated. See the API keys article for details.
Account Status
Your account status (Active, Suspended, Closed) is managed by our operations team. Contact support if you need your status changed.
Settlement Details
Bank account information for payouts is configured during onboarding. To update your settlement details, please contact our support team.
